Biography —
Dr. Lan Guo's focus is on deciphering the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease, She is trying to probe the role of neuronal-microglial crosstalk in the development of neurodegeneration in this devastating disorder by adopting multidisciplinary approaches including molecular neurobiology, live cell imaging and transcriptomics. The understanding of key mechanisms of such complicated inter-cell type communication holds hope for the development of therapeutic avenues for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
