  • Coordinate the ordering of rats and wt mice of various ages, optimize the utilization of the tissues from these animals, including KO mice, across projects, plus, maintain, cross-breed, and estimate the longevity of well-characterized wt and Tg mice.
  • Prepare and maintain the SH-SY5Y neuronal, C2C12 myocyte, and HEK293 human kidney cell lines.
  • Assist investigators in the design and cloning of plasmid vectors and to design and deliver siRNA constructs to neuronal cell lines in culture.
  • Conduct studies on gene expression using DNA microarrays. (Genomics Facility)
