Major Programs
Several large, multi-investigator, collaborative, multidisciplinary research grants, such as NIH-supported Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) and Specialized Centers, are part of the HBC structure. These centers have focused their resources in the area of training new faculty on how to compete for research grants, how to set up their laboratories, and how to establish collaborations across disciplines.
