Large Format Printing

If you believe your file is too large to email, please contact us about using the university's Hawk Drive service.
Capacity is limited so individuals must schedule a printing time a minimum of 2 days in advance. Notification of fewer than 2 days will be considered a Rush Job and a $50 special services fee will apply. If an individual needs to delay the actual print time by more than 2 hours, the special services fee of $50 will apply. When scheduling your print time, be aware that posters usually take between 20-30 minutes to spool and print and at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to dry. Posters with dark backgrounds and/or full ink coverage can take an hour or more to print and up to a full day to dry. Any reprints will be charged to the grant, with the PI being notified in advance of the 2nd reprint. Only HBC participants and members of their research groups will have access to the service, as the printer was purchased with IDC generated by participants.
Proof review/approval: Poster files submitted for proof printing should be completely finalized. These proofs are NOT for proof-reading of content; they are your opportunity to confirm that the print quality is acceptable and that there are no problems with layout, image, or font changes that may have occurred as a result of converting to PDF.
