William Picking, a professor in the Department of Molecular Biosciences and a participating researcher, was recently appointed as the associate director of academic research (ADAR) at the Higuchi Biosciences Center. He will promote biomedical research at the university, assist researchers in developing interdepartmental collaborations and direct internal funding initiatives. Collaboration and multi-investigator research efforts are the cornerstone of HBC research, and Bill Picking exemplifies these attributes, HBC Director Eli Michaelis says. Congratulations Bill!
