NABF Scheduled for Fall 2002
The Higuchi Biosciences Center for Bioanalytical Research is co-sponsoring the Second Annual North American Bioanalytical Forum (NABF) next fall in Kansas City, MO. The Fairmont Hotel near the historic Country Club Plaza area in Kansas City will be the site of the meeting to be held from September 29-October 2, 2002. More than 110 people attended the First North American Bioanalytical Forum, which was held in September, 2000 in Kansas City, MO.
The objective of the NABF is to bring together bioanalytical chemists from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, contract research organizations, government laboratories and academia in an atmosphere that encourages the exchange of information and discussion on the latest scientific advances in drug research. To foster and maximize scientific exchanges while maintaining the informal nature of the meeting, registration will be limited to 130 people. The meeting will feature single stream presentations, poster presentations, discussion sessions and several evening social events.
Scientific themes that have been targeted as areas of interest include immunoassay in bioanalysis, sample preparation technologies, LC/MS/MS, bioanalytical sampling techniques and emerging technologies. The event is co-sponsored by the International Association for Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis.
