Lawrence, Kansas-based CritiTech, Inc., recently appointed Doug Johnson as its new CEO. CritiTech is a spin-off company of Higuchi Biosciences Center at KU that produces drug nanoparticles for evaluation and testing and is designing a high-pressure crystallizer to produce pharmaceutical products. Johnson has more than 25 years of experience leading sales organizations for Fortune 500 companies in the health care and technology-based industries. Most recently vice-president of Newer Technology, Inc., in Wichita, Kansas, Johnson has worked for Budva International, Strategem, Inc., Medi-Flex Hospital Products, Curtin Matheson Scientific, Inc., and Marion Labs Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
